CORDINZA / Hotel revenue-to-cash control

From source records to an owner review.

Start with one property and one period. Define the evidence, review the differences and leave every open item with a clear next action.

A bounded review, in four steps

1. Establish fit and scope

Identify the property, month, sources, currency, approximate volume and the owner’s main question. Agree the fee and limits before work begins.

2. Validate the supplied records

Check source totals, dates, references, cut-offs and available opening or subsequent settlement items. Record gaps before drawing conclusions.

3. Review and investigate

Compare expected settlements with receipts. Check fees, refunds and timing; request explanations for unresolved items through the nominated hotel contact.

4. Review findings with the owner

Present the coverage record, settlement bridge, exception register and action plan. Distinguish explained items, verified outcomes and outstanding work.

The hotel’s contribution

  • One authorised finance contact and the agreed exports.
  • Answers about fees, refunds, timing and local payment practices.
  • Relevant opening or subsequent receipts where needed to explain the selected month.
  • Approval of consequential actions and provider correspondence where required.

Customer preparation time and response needs must be established during fit review. No untested onboarding-time or turnaround promise is made.

Keep unresolved work visible

An exception closes when receipt evidence, a verified authorised correction or an accepted supported explanation establishes the outcome. A provider acknowledgement alone does not resolve a financial difference.

The initial engagement has a defined review allowance. Items awaiting a third party can remain open at handover, with their dependencies and next actions recorded. Additional work requires agreement.
